I just wanted to introduce Mason and Belle. I found them at Walmart in a neighboring town. THey were the only two left in the store. I was just looking for a female. But, I couldn't leave Mason behind. Here is Mason... And, this is Belle... Belle is living in the 29 gallon endler livebearer tank with 2 other female bettas and a blue gourami. Here it is... So far, they are all doing very well.

Cool, they look like a pair, the 29 could have been called a endlers colony but you have the bettas and gourami, but Still cool bettas what kind of fish are those at the top of the tank? Loaches? They look cool, I can't wait till i get my tank planted ;D

This was an Endler colony. That is why the bettas and the gourami are there. I have given so many of these endlers away, that friends and family hate to see me coming. LOL
The two guys at the top of the tank are Ray & Claude. I call them my Jailbirds. They are a pair of botia histrionica, sold to me as Tattoo Loaches. Very fun to watch.

Thanks for telling me about the loaches, hmm, where did you get the endlers from? I can't find any at my LFS.

I got them from a girl in Texas. She was selling them on Aquabid.
THey are also sometimes called wild guppies. They are members of the guppy family and will interbreed with them. They are no long available in the wild.
They multiply very swiftly and do not eat their babies. THey have very short lifespans and only live about a year. Males get about an inch long and most females get 1 1/2 inches long.
They, too, are fun to watch. The males play like they are hurt to trick the female into coming out of hiding. LOL

I know they are related to guppies and they can interbreed, but the babies are F1 (sterile) are you sure they are not available in the wild? OMG! I can't believe that happened!
