So lets say your a newbie, and you wanna start keeping live plants, well I would recommend the Anubias plants, there are many! They don't engulf your tank(s) and they don't need lots of light to survive, they also don't need lots of CO2, but its better if you had one.

also Moneywort plants are good for beginners and experts alike, they can survive and grow rapidly in low light (even less than 1 watt per gallon) and are a very nice addition to the foreground of a tank, they are quite heart and the growth of it is quite interesting as well considering at a small size it has round leaves. Then as the plant begins to grow the leaves become thin and pointed, really shows the progress of it and its a taller plant as well, its a good attention grabber....

yup, but it can be a bit invasive thats why its called the creeping jenny , and thats not good or a newbie, anubias is good cause it can live in gravel! And grows slowly, and Moneywort is still a good choice though ;D
