ive been sucking up more and more snails during gravel vacs . How do i get rid of these stupid things! HELP! I EVEN FIND THEM IN MY FILTER! ugh. I sucked up about 8 yesterday maybe more, but i usually only suck up 1 or 2. What do i do with them when i catch them. Do i throw them out?

Drop a lettuce leaf into the tank after lights out, in the morning lift it back out again with a lot of snails hitching a lift on it, then just put it in a bag and drop it in the trash, The other thing you could do would be invest in some snail eating fish, I don't know the size of your tank or it's inhabitants so i can't advise what type,

just tie it to a flat stone or tank weight with a piece of thread.

boil it for a minute first, you fish might wat it before the snails get to it, mine do anyways, I don't have snails though, I had one mean molly who killed them all

Actually, don't. Puffers are notorious fin-nippers, and do best in a species-only tank. Also, they're brackish!

yeah, but there are freshwater ones, I really don't know their name but they are small, here's a page on them, they are 100% FW, and need 3 gallons per inch of fish. www.dwarfpuffers.com/
