Common Name: Albino Corydoras Paleatus Scientific Name: Corydoras paleatus Origin: South America Diet: Omnivore Max Size: 3" (inches) Tank Recommendations: Tank Size: 10 (gallons) Community Safe: Yes Temp: 72 - 80 (Fahrenheit) pH: 6.8 - 7.2 Difficulty: Easy General Info: This is the albino form of one of the most popular corydoras species. It is a white to yellow fish with red eyes. They are great scavengers for peaceful community tanks and do very well in small aquariums. They accept flake and small pellet foods. They also like live black, tubifex, and frozen bloodworms, Algae Wafers, Shrimp Pellets, Peeled Peas and Corn. They are more difficult to spawn than the natural color form but are still relatively easy and prolific spawners. Like other cory cats, albino corys are a schooling fish, and should be kept in groups of at least three to four individuals. 3 of my 6
